Girl Gang - January 2025

It was great to be back together after the rush of the holidays and nice to share projects.

Lorraine brought her A Well Dressed Hare quilt all finished.  Good job!  It was quilted by Cindy Paulsen and it so beautiful.

Lorraine has been working on slow stitching this charming fabric pocket.  She can tuck little treasures or projects in there.  She loves lace and buttons and embellishing stitches.

Laraine, the other one, brought this darling flower table runner.  It is so cute and the quilting is more like embroidery where there are open spaces.

This or That is the name of this Jen Kingwell pattern that Laraine just finished.  It is square so the pattern looks one way and then when turned, looks another.  We love the unusual fabrics.

Diane made this darling elephant applique quilt for her sister who loves animals.  Her fabrics are wonderful.

Diane's daughter made her this cute bag with fabrics from Diane's stash.

Debra has begun the Embroidery Sampler Stitch Book by Amy McClellan.  Fun stitches!

Kerry brought a fun basket called Seasons of Home.  It is her pattern that she did a while ago.  It makes you want to sit down and take up your needle.

Norma continues to work through a lot of fabric in her stash and is making some wonderful quilt tops.  This blue gray and beige quilt is so wonderful.  Lots of half square triangles.

This quilt is a familiar Jan Patek pattern from way back.  Just love all of the plaids and stripes.

Norma has chosen some great fabrics to make this broken dishes quilt.  It is so dear.  She said she has been on a half square triangle kick lately!

Norma brought this little miniature piece that was done by Vickie Leish sp? if any of you remember her.  The blocks are 1/2 inch finished.

She also brought this darling tea towel that was sent to her by a friends.  We all had memories of embroidered tea towels.

We cheer Julie on each month with the amazing progress that she is making on her Field of Flowers quilt.  She has the two side borders, with oodles of leaves, to finish and it will be ready to finish up.  It is gorgeous.

Ann has been crocheting up a storm!  She has made over 100 crocheted hearts with chenille thread for family and friends at church.  They are so cute.

Save the date for February 12th for our next gathering.
