Girl Gang - December 2022

It was so cozy to gather together and have lunch and share projects.  Recipes from lunch will be coming in an email.  Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

This happy quilt is by Julie.  It is a pattern that was on the cover of Simply Vintage magazine and is made with  Anna Marie Horner fabrics.  Julie said she did this quilt because she had abandoned another quilt project but loved this border fabric so started this project.  Gives you hope, doesn't it?

Leslie has finished this amazing cross stitch piece: Grateful, Thankful & Blessed.  It is on 36 count linen and is so beautiful.  She tweeked some of the thread colors to make it just perfect.  Dennis made the rustic frame from wood that came from Diane Ward's barn in Midwway.  We love this piece!

Vickie Shared some fun fabrics from Stitch Supply company and also Charlie Harper fabrics.  The Charlie Harper fabrics felt so smooth and divine.

Brittany brought her beautiful finished "Yes We Can, America!" quilt.  A wonderful pattern from Normal Whaley that we all love.  It is beautiful!

This is the back with Brittany's signature bee label.

Brittany made this plaid quilt in high school from her mom's stash and it is so loved that it is wearing out.  Brittany went back to Ann's stash and there were a lot of the original fabrics so Brittany is patching and getting this quilt to a place where it can be loved for a lot more years.  By the way, Ann, we want to see your fabric stash!

Brittany made this "If You Could Hie" quilt - her own pattern - from bias strips.  The circles are so accurate.

Kerry just finished this amazing quilt that she named "Women's Work".  The inspiration was from the scriptures in Proverbs about a virtuous woman.  Every block is a stunning piece of work.  It was quilted by Cindy Paulsen.

Kerry was thinking of Marilyn's cute auburn hair when she made this woman.

Love the wallpaper quilting on this block.

Kerry said this woman didn't have time to fix her hair because she was
so busy with her children!

Look at the cute thread spools and tomato pin cushion and the quilts
on the wall.

Love the sheep!

Girl Gang - May 2026

What fun to see new projects and what people have been working on. Leslie is as busy as ever.  She has made this Three Flags Log Cabin quilt...
