It was so great to get together and share our recent projects. We missed you if you weren't here. We had a gully washer storm but we were cozy inside sharing.
Kathy Muir shared two amazing quilts with us. The Suburbs quilt was a kit that Kathy picked up at the Phoenix Quilt Show. It is a Cluck Cluck Sew pattern. The fabrics are vibrant and happy. The background is a newspaper print and the navy sky fabric stars is magical.

| The back was so darling! |
Kathy calls her second quilt her "Covid Quilt" because she worked on it for 18 months and most of it was during the shut down. It was also at the quilter for quite some time because she was backed up. You will just have to see this one in person because photos don't do it justice. Wow! It is mostly hand appliqued. Kathy mostly used fabrics from her stash. This pattern is by Megan Manwaring, Applique Sampler with a Twist. I was glad the binding wasn't finished so that Kathy will have a reason to bring it in October when she is back.

Lorraine is always so busy stitching and brought these two needlework pieces of the Man in the Moon. Some of the threads have a beautiful shimmer to them.
Lorraine also did this darling wool on wool quilt with darling flowers. She loves flowers so this was a perfect project for her.
Lorraine had fun with a layer cake pack to make this quilt in blues called Twister.
Debra brought some Yazzii bags to share. She has been cleaning out her sewing room. She made this darling Halloween runner called Batty Halloween Mat from Buttermilk Basin. How fun to put out in October!
Jen brought this darling quilt, Spin Me Around, that she and Liz both made. It was a pattern from the June 2021 American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. The fabrics are ombre jewel tones from the Gem Stones Bright and Confetti Cottons collections from Riley Blake.

| Karen Morgan did a beautiful job on the quilting. |
Leslie is an amazing cross stitcher and we love seeing her latest creations. She is working on this beautiful sampler that is 36 stitches to the inch! Get out the magnifiers! It is on linen and so amazing.
Leslie has finished this All Things Bright and Beautiful sampler that is framed with Dennis' beautiful wood work frame.
These cute little pillows, about 6"x7", are some of Leslie's favorite things to work on.
She is almost finished hand quilting this wonderful autumn leaf table topper quilt.
Ann has been working on this basket quilt with Liberty of London fabrics and a neutral blue background. This is another quilt that photos just don't do it justice. It is so fabulous!
Diane made this cute Elizabeth Hartman quilt, The Puppies, for her daughter. It is at the quilter at the moment so we hope to see it in person soon. So darling!
Liz has finished two baby quilts from the Tilda fabric line - Cotton Beach - and pattern book. It was a very relaxing quilt to make, just whack up the fabric and sew like crazy.
For those of you who remember Patty Owens from Gentler Times, (oh, don't we miss Gentler Times?) this quilt is being finished by Diane, Leslie, Gaylen and Norma for the Holiday Quilt Show and Auction. We miss Patty but her legacy lives on in her quilts.
