Lovin' this beautiful fall! It was nice to get together last week and we missed you if you weren't here.
Marilyn has some fun things to share. She is working on this block of the month quilt, Split, by Wendy Williams. the colors are so fun and it is going to be a fabulous quilt.
Marilyn has also been busy crocheting scarves. She loves color and texture in these scarves.
She also shared this darling mini quilt made by her daughter, Hillary, who make this with 1/4" pieces and triangles glued on a backing for this cute piece. It is amazing.
Lastly, Marilyn has been making pin cushions in abundance. So fun!
Lorraine has been working on this very interesting quilt she calls Tales of Cloth. It is made with elongated hexagons in a circle. She used lots of old memory fabrics from scraps that she has had for years. It is so sweet.
Lorraine made a lot of mini quilts in the 80's and 90's and brought them to share. They are so sweet and she used more of her memory fabrics. She hangs them on her wall to enjoy.
Laraine (the other one) brought this cute heart quilt made out of a layer cake. It was quilted by Cindy Paulsen and it is gorgeous.
She also brought the Reverend Gourdon Squashbottom cross stitch by Lori Brechlin of Norforgotten Farms. Perfect for autumn.
Leslie wants to make these four seasonal stitching pieces. We can't wait to see them finished!
Pumpkin Patch is a pattern by Norma. Oh, how we love Norma's patterns!
Norma also made the same quilt in a smaller scale. So cute!
Norma shared her flowers of autumn quilt with us. We all love it.
Pumpkins on Parade is a pattern and quilt by Norma. The pattern was in Primitive Quilts magazine and also available on Norma's website. This would be a fun quilt to make and not difficult.
Norma has also been doing fun cross stitch. She likes to put some on a fabric backed foam core and add the cross stitch and set it on an easel. Like this Blackbird piece.
Look at these cute small pillows to tuck into a little space and enjoy through autumn.
A sweet piece to remind us of being peaceful.
Finally, Norma's Blockade Quilt is a great pattern with a nod to when fabrics couldn't get through to America and people started making their own homespun.
Jennifer and Liz have finally, finally finished the Folk Flower blocks for their quilt. The flowers are Tilda Bloomsville fabric. It has been a big applique project but so worth it.
See you November 13th!
