Girl Gang - February 2026

Just wanted to let you know that Valerie was in a car accident on Saturday and has a hairline fracture on her 12th vertebrae.  Love and prayers to you Valerie.

Kerry was given a wool kit called Coffee Break that was all precut and ready to go with all of the embellishing thread to go with it.  It is so cute!  Kerry's embellishing is wonderful.  She is about halfway done.

Leslie and her daughter taught 3 classes at the Bryce Canyon.  She is still working on the amazing cross stitch piece for the country's 250th anniversary: One Nation Under God.  She is very close to being finished.  It is 1 thread over 2 on 36 count linen.  We love seeing the progress!

Diane brought a cute little ornament that she found stashed away and is getting it finished.  It is two sheep stacked on each other with a star on top and cut in a Christmas tree shape.  It's adorable.

Trudy brought the most amazing quilt.  Her aunt, Mary Crittenden (?) stitched it together and Trudy's mom ended up with it.  Trudy's mom was the youngest of 13 and her sister made the quilt.   It was probably done in the 30's.  She had the Relief Society tie it.  When Trudy got it, she knew that wasn't right.  She unpicked the ties and took it to a hand quilter in Park City and had it hand stitched.  It is so beautiful!

Girl Gang - May 2026

What fun to see new projects and what people have been working on. Leslie is as busy as ever.  She has made this Three Flags Log Cabin quilt...
