Girl Gang - January 2020

Ann bought some knit slippers at the shop at Quilt Show in the Barn
(the blue one) and found a pattern to duplicate them.  Super cute!

They are cute cuffed!

Diane just finished this darling sheep pillow top.  It is one of Norma's patterns, Counting Sheep.  Diane will give
this to a sister-in-law who raises sheep.

Diane has this quilt all finished and bound.  The colors are so soothing and the color placement is great!

The back of Diane's quilt - lots of great fabrics.

This is Diane's family in Mexico on a humanitarian trip to build homes in Mexico.  It was a great way
to spend Christmas.

Debra has finished this fabulous Sue Spargo applique and embellishment quilt, Home Grown.  It is so fun to see the beautiful embellishments and whimsical things in the quilt.  It couldn't be cuter!

Here is our own Brittany getting published again.  We are so proud of you Brit!  Her Black and White America Quilt
was featured as the first quilt in Curated Quilts.  It has a powerful message and we love it!

This is Leslie reminding Brittany that she taught Brittany her first quilt class!  Also, the featured quilt.

This is the write up for the quilt.
Brittany has been busy with this amazing free style art quilt.  It is bright and the quilting is fantastic.
After it was machine quilted, Brit went back and did some stitching with sparkly thread that gives
it so much depth.

Brit is making this Elizabeth Hartman pattern: Lisa the Unicorn.
Her daughter is going to be a luck girl when this is complete.

Another unicorn!

Leslie has been knitting.  This time with wool ordered from Iceland.  She loves to wear these cozy gloves.

Leslie is working on using up fabrics.  This is a scrappy quilt with fabric from her stash.
She is in the process of hand quilting it.
This back of Leslie's quilt is fabric that Julie generously shared
with the group.  It is the perfect back.

Liz has put the last stitch into Solstice Dream and is so happy with it.  It is a delightful quilt
to work on.  Kerry, thanks for the amazing pattern and for the "I double dog dare ya".  Well,
Kerry didn't exactly say that but she did say, "You could do it."  Thanks for the help and
encouragement.

Girl Gang - May 2026

What fun to see new projects and what people have been working on. Leslie is as busy as ever.  She has made this Three Flags Log Cabin quilt...
