Thanks to all who shared their recent projects: quilts and stitchery.
Julie and Kerry went on a great quilt tour last month with Patty Foley: Kansas City, Hamilton, Omaha, Lincoln and Des Moines. It featured the International Quilt Museum and a covered bridge tour. Sounds fun. Julie brought her Sue Spargo Quilt Tales piece that she is working on. She has 10 of 30 blocks finished. She shared with us this Heart to Hand Merry Christmas Quilt. She said it was her pandemic quilt. It is beautiful and such a great piece for the holidays.

Brittany has been focusing her energies on this Fairy Tale Forest quilt made with Liberty of London Fabrics. It is paper pieced and so beautiful. The fabrics are luscious and of course, Brittany is the queen of Liberty fabrics. Brit started collecting Liberty fabrics in 2001 and has an amazing collection. She also shared a tip that she put in Curated Quilts to help keep your machine clean: a mascara brush from a makeup store. She brought one for all of us. Thanks so much!
Diane brought this quilt that was made for Patty Owens in 1997 when she left Gentler Times. It was a trip down memory land because it was signed by so many dear women that we have known over the years. I will put their signed blocks at the end if you are interested. The quilt will be given to one of Patty's daughters. Such a treasure.

Lorraine has been busy with wool stitching and needlepoint. She told us that doing handwork will put us in a very meditative state. Another reason to stitch! Lorraine finished this bee piece yesterday and it is beautiful. She also brought a hand painted canvas for us to see the beautiful design before it is completed. Lorraine also made a darling little wall hanging for her sewing space.
Debra! she made this cute Halloween pillow with the best fabric on the back. And, her Sue Spargo bird quilt is just back from the quilter and is stunning. Cindy Paulsen did the quilting. We hope you bring it again next month when the binding is on. It is a show stopper.
What a fascinating quilt and all of the embellishment is amazing. Each block is a work of art!
Debra always has a creative label on her quilts.
Leslie has finished her Jane Tindall sampler. Jane Tindall was a young girl who made a sampler piece in 1864. The pattern was reproduced and Leslie worked it on 36 count linen. A feat right there. Leslie started this piece three months ago and said that she has stitched for three hours every night to finish it. Leslie is a WIP - 1. (works in progress) She put her mom's name on it because her mom grew up in Lyman, Wyoming on a farm with sheep and milking cows. It is amazing.
Leslie has also been working on this Burgoyne Surrounded quilt and a small 9 patch of the same fabrics. Can you find the block with green fabric?

Liz has finished this cute pumpkin quilt from the Riley Blake line: Bountiful Harvest. It was a fun autumn quilt.
