Girl Gang Quilts - October 2018

It felt so cozy to be sharing quilts on a fall evening.

Brittany made this soothing gray quilt for a new nephew.  It has minkie on the back and is so cuddly.

 

The quilting is in waves and compliments the quilt.

Brittany is holding up the Curated Quilts magazine that features her Madonna quilt.  

Brittany also shared this publication - Quiltfolk
that highlights talented quilters from a particular
state for that quarter.

Ann made this adorable elephant quilt for her grandson.  The same baby
who has Brittany's gray quilt.  That is a very lucky baby to have two
beautiful quilts.

 

Julie found this Liberty of London print bag on sale at Dillard's.
It was so cute that I just had to post it.  She should have bought them
all and sold them off at Girl Gang!

Julie has been so busy working on this Sue Spargo kit quilt.  

These darling little houses (27 of them) surround the tree block.  So darling!

Julie has also been working on this Jen Kingwell quilt - Golden Days.  Her fussy cut blocks and choice of fabrics is magical.

Vickie is busy collecting fabric for this Meadow quilt.  The pattern is
by Michelle Mckillop.  It will be so fun!

Debra has just finished up this beautiful winter Christmas quilt.  The pattern is by cute Norma
Whaley - Silent Night.

The detail in this quilt is so fun.  Can you see the bead Christmas lights
on the cabin?

The snow is remarkable because it is little 1/4 inch felt dots stitched on.

 

And there is Santa with all the animals!

The quail are sweet and you can see the candles in the windows lighting the way home.

Liz is getting ready for a new granddaughter this month and the baby's mom wanted flamingos!  

Liz's Penny Path is finally finished!  And Jen's is, too.  Looking forward to getting them to the quilter.
