It's great to start the new year enjoying everyone's beautiful projects.
Trudy has been knitting away and her husband has been anticipating her finishing this beautiful cable throw so that he can enjoy it. It is made of soft wool yarn and will be cozy on a cold night.
Leslie has been busy making all sorts of things to commemorate the country's semiquincentennial or 250th anniversary. This One Nation Under God cross stitch piece is about halfway done. What a beautiful tribute to our country.
She made a sweet little shawl, just her size with a picot edge.
Leslie has different sizes of bags to keep her projects in.
She also brought some darling pillows that she finished.
...and a sixth pair of wool socks.
This is a quilt pattern that Leslie plans to make, also for the country's anniversary.
And a cross stitch pattern of the Mayflower. Leslie's ancestor was on the ship. Leslie is going to be busy!
Debra has been making some darling quilts and we loved seeing Norma's beautiful patterns made up. Debra made this sweet Love One Another that is wool applique.
We all loved seeing Silent Night which is piecing and wool applique. It is a peaceful quilt and Debra embellished it with cute ice icicles on the cabin roof.
Kerry has been obsessed with working on this Honey Bee quilt from Dragonfly Studio by Suzanne Cody. It has taken 6 months. Amazing. It features aboriginal fabrics and lots of other beautiful fabrics that have been fussy cut and placed so well. The most amazing part is the 1/8 inch vines in the quilt. Kerry used Celtic bias bars to make the vines so perfect. A stunning quilt! We can't wait to see it after it is quilted.
Cheers for Julie who has finished her Field of Flowers quilt! It is back from the quilter and Julie has it bound. It is so bright and colorful and the fabrics are amazing. It is 95 x 95 and will be on Julie's bed. The amount of hours to prep each block and applique them is quite something. Well done Julie!
Liz and Jennifer were so happy to finish two quilts. A Quilt for Alice was a fun project that had been tucked away for a lot of years. It is a fun little star quilt.
Also, the Bunting Quilt by Tilda is also finished. The fabrics were enjoyable to put into this quilt. The quilting makes this quilt!
