Girl Gang Quilts - March 2019

Vicki brought this incredible old quilt that they found as they were cleaning out her husband's mother's house.  I probably
has a wool batting and is hand quilted.  We all thought the fabrics would make a lovely new fabric line.
This is a closer view.  The dark navy blocks give it life.
This is Brittany's Swedish quilt.  It is done in the colors of the Swedish flag.  All of the little strips and bits are
pieced.  Lots of tiny lines!

These blocks are made from even smaller bits.  Quite amazing.

Brittany has finished this striking quilt in solids.

Brittany is working on this applique block in brights.

Ann and Brittany are taking this class from Jeana Kimball.  The quilt is Friendship Offering.  It is interesting
how different the blocks look in different color ways.

Ann is doing another set of blocks with a cheddar background.

Golden Days is the name of the quilt that Ann is working on with fussy cut circles.

Leslie has three rows to add to the bottom of her house quilt.

Leslie has finished her Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt.  Hand pieced, hand quilted and hand stitched around the edge.

This quilt is so amazing and  is quite a treasure.

The hand stitched edge.

Leslie has this minimalist quilt halfway done on the hand quilting.  The colors are so soothing.

Leslie's beautiful hand quilting.
Liz is two blocks closer to finishing Solstice Dream.
Liz loves the Hungry Caterpillar and this quilt was fun to work on.  Karen Morgan
quilted it and in the colored strips she quilted "chomp chomp chomp"!

Girl Gang - May 2026

What fun to see new projects and what people have been working on. Leslie is as busy as ever.  She has made this Three Flags Log Cabin quilt...
